Interestingly i was in an AD today and I reckon the Montoya that I was wearing is actually heavier than the 44mm "Novelty" Platinum despite it's smaller size. I need to get all four on the scales. |

That's fair enough but have you seen one in the flesh? I think if you wore one it might grow on you. The platinum case details and blue dial with special pattern is amazing. I own RMs but I will not buy a Concept as they don't fit me properly.

I can't be too specific I am afraid but I suspect it will get your thumbs up. Sadly it is about 12 months away.

Regarding my incoming It is a unique commission so takes a long time to make. Notwithstanding this I will likely have another special incoming to report in a few days but it won't be in the AP section! |

Interesting about the case curvature you are mentioning. The carbon one and lap timer are my favorite concepts. But on a video review I was watching on the carbon concept, the guy specifically said how this would fits better because now there are not any more gaps due to the case design. Have you tried that one? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtFTpHhSWjM Here is a good review on it. |

The Lap Timer is a slightly better fit than the other Concepts but still not comfortable enough for me and the Supersonnerie also doesn't fit. By fitting rubber straps and using a very tight notch on a pin buckle (not deployant) it is just about wearable but that isn't good enough at that price level. |

I would really like to try on the GMT Tourb Concept......that one has had my eye for quite awhile.
I agree with Rodger about the fit of the Laptimer. It's an amazing watch, but it's just too big and doesn't fit right for me. JPS

I don't think I need to rake over old coals on my Patek decision, as it serves no purpose. It is a great brand and I wish them well. I have retained my 5970P for the moment and am selling my 5270R. |

Is there a discernable visual difference between AP SS and AP Platinum in ROOs? Given how well AP can polish SS. Just curious....
Look forward to that special incoming!
