Congrats! Your post pushed me over the edge and I bought the BLNR at my AD here in MI. Won't get it until tomorrow in OH. Life is good.

Congrats!

Weird how there is a waiting list. I've seen BLNR's sitting in multiple AD's display cases. Albeit, one in the case not 2-4 like other models...

You live in a different world from us mere mortals in the UK.

Let me guess, your ADs discount their BLNR models too to sell them? LoL

The difference is crazy.

That's fantastic!! I'm so pleased for you

You paid the standard retail price too, did you?

Not that I've got a problem about this watch... but I actually dreamt of it last night

Mine? What do you mean?

"You asked to be put on our waiting list and we havent been able to contact anyone else before you on the list so are offering it to you"

:O

I jumped in the car and sped off to the AD to buy it there and then.

Once it was in my hands I explained that I never asked to be put on any waiting list, I'd just called up out of interest in January when I was hunting for a normal GMT II ceramic and for some reason they put me down. They've only had 2 BLNRs this year!

So a VERY VERY happy boy today :D

Anyone want to buy my old LN? :P

Lady Luck threw you a bone.

The difference is crazy.

I went to America once, I was literally tripping over some of the most hard to come by Rolex I know of. They were literally giving them away

I don't understand why every time someone in the UK posts about getting a model like this, one of our American friends chips in with how they have seen 5 in shop windows in the last 48hrs and been offered them at 15% discount.

Surely it is common knowledge by now that certain parts of the world are not awash with SS sports models like our partners from the USA
