Okay, that makes sense. Will also unscrew the case and take a picture for the Pam experts on the watchuwant forums.

Also picked up a good pic of an authentic 000 movement online to compare the two movements.

Looks an sounds legit to me...not that that means anything.

I hope you can get it authenticated and start enjoying it soon, it's a fantastic watch!

Start to think fedex is going to miss the delivery deadline, his local fedex got it saturday afternoon and held on to it until yesterday afternoon. Crap, crap, crap.

This is such a PITA compared to buying 2nd hand rolexes.

I will ask again, not just to you but to anyone, what in the world do papers in a box have to do with authenticity? The watch is either real or it isn't, has nothing to do with box and papers.
Because it seems I have read about the importance of box and papers on literally every panerai forum and subforum known to man. Guess it's more of a floor than a ceiling.

^^ People love boxes and papers for any watch. Doesn't matter if it's Rolex, Panerai, or Seiko.
I have just seen too many people fooled by the presence of them. The watch is what is important.

Dealer confirmed sale of listed watch to my ebay seller by name and serial and reference numbers on same amount and date. Unless my seller somehow specifically had the watch specifically made for him with identical serial, etc, etc or put the back on a replica, I'd say I'm golden.

My favourite Pam.

In fact my Wife who does not care about any watch when she heard I want offload 000 to get funds for another piece demanded that I shall give it to her instead of selling.
