i think 'impulse buy' is more appropriate for a bag of skittles or the national enquirer at the checkout line.

that is a gorgeous piece.

Here is how it went down. Walked into store looking for a 39mm stainless steel ROC but then I saw this piece in the display case with bezel and case in excellent condition. Asking price was within "acceptable" range, so I asked the shop owner to set it aside while I arranged the funds. Within 20 mins, money was in account (luckily watch dealer and I use the same bank) and I walked out of store with watch on wrist. It was a seamless transaction, as the saying goes.
