Cool but this Bluetooth mobile app thingy is decidedly uncool lately. I mean what a pain. They're supposed to be the absolute Rambo get caked in &%!£, bash and scrape around type of thing. If you have to fanny around swiping your iphone you may as well check the time whilst you're at it,no?

You can disable Bluetooth and fall back on radio sync. The downside is the BT models don't have a dedicated battery indicator on the LCD so you'd need the app to know your battery level. If it's a solar model then this should be less of a concern if it sees enough daylight.

My G-Shock is my work watch, gym watch, and general sport watch (snow/water skiing, hiking, running, cycling, Crossfit, etc).

I am thinking of replacing it with a Exp II for work, but other than that, I will always own a G-Shock.

Hiking, snow blowing, construction sites are where the G Shock shines.

Nice watches but afraid some are posting pictures far to large for forum use, guys try to keep to the forum rules of around 900X 900 pixels.

Zenith Striking 10th and Old School G-Shock. Love them both. G-Shock - the real "tool" watch.

I use mine as a separator. Don't want scratches when I want to wear two or three watches at the same time.

I have many g shocks, including the orgional 1983 5000 (that I bought new in 83), its worth about a grand among gshock addicts. I love my G's. including my gravity master 1000 with gps and carbon fiber band. All watches are good!!

Here's my G-Shock Project Team Tough and DSSD. Even had a chance to meet the inventor of the G-Shock last year, Mr. Kikuo Ibe-san.
