Go with the SD 116600.
It will make you smile.

This is going to be a difficult decision, I have a soft spot for both watches but in this case I would go with 116600

I had both but only kept the 116600. Both are wonderful watches, so no bad choices only preferences. On the other side, you'll always be able to purchase a 114060 later on.

116600. I've had both and believe me the SD is The Perfect Dive Watch. 114060's are 2 a penny.

I have a 116600 and a 7.5" wrist and the SD wears fine. Interestingly, there have been many comments on this forum that the SD fits smaller wrists better than the newer maxi case Subs. So, you may find that the Sub looks a bit better on your wrist. Saying that, there's not a lot in it though, so go for what sings to you so you'll love it every time you put it on...

Try both of them on. The SD4K felt and looked a bit awkward on my wrist each time I tried it. Perhaps an unpopular opinion but I think the SD4K lugs are still thick compared to the 5-digit models and being shorter than the center links doesn't help.
With an 8-inch wrist I'd actually try the new SD50. |

I've had my SD4K for a month or so and am very pleased with how it looks, wears and feels. I've never tried on a Sub so I cannot comment on it, however, with my bias opinion I say go with the SD4k, or, whichever feels the best and/or you gravitate to the most!
Good luck! |

Go for the 114060, you can get it brand new for that price I'm sure. Go through a trusted seller in this forum. Good luck they are both gorgeous!!

You can get a 114060 sealed for essentially the price referenced for a TS. I'd do that. And did.

114060 is cleaner, simpler, lighter, thinner and more classic.
I was on the border for a while but I'm glad I went with SubC though SD4K is not bad. Try both on and get what sings to you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I went with a 14060M 4-liner.
I love the SD models as well, and a 16600 will most likely be my 2nd Rolex. |

Love the symmetry and simplicity of the sub...so that would be my pick. Hard to beat a sub for the first.
If you still have the yearning for a SD down the road, then you could bring in a SD43 for a nice change up to the sub. |
