I recommend body armor. Level IV plates are best ...but a discreet soft armor may be the way to go with the summer heat.

I went all over Chicago last time I was there and wore a Rolex to the south side. No issues. No body armor required. Second best city in the country hands down. (Biased to NY)

First Day:

Walked the Magnificent Mile.

Saw TUMI, stopped at Rolex.

Lunch at Purple Pig.

Walked to Slyde and Slyde, bought an Everest strap for my BLNR.

Stopped by well-know coin dealer.

Did architecture boat tour!

Took at nap at the hotel!

Then too Second City for comedy show.

Full day!
