Agreed. Wear them all in rotation. No need for just one.

Any particular reason you put up 14060 over 114060? Because I'd go ceramic between the two. 24/7 for weeks at a time; always nice to pick up a watch that you just need to adjust the time and not have to worry about the date.

16710 or 14060M for me.......and honestly it is a draw because I love both (and own both)

The main reason is that I don't own a 114060.

BLRO! A little color, options to change out bezel inserts, looks great on different straps and you have the date and time zone function.

Tough call between the Sub and GMT. Love them both.
On the 5 digit models the flatter case back of the GMT fits my wrist better than the Sub so is more comfortable to wear.
The GMT also looks and wears great with a jubilee bracelet.

At first I wasn't a huge fan of the pepsi, but recently I can't help but feel like the versatility of having that with different bezel options would be a very nice way to have one daily watch, but can mix it up when you feel like it. I feel like I'd probably usually have the black bezel, but the option to have that pop of a pepsi bezel would be great.

Any of those three would make a good daily watch.

It's entirely a matter of taste and utility.

I think the most versatile in terms of pure style would be the 114270. I choice of adjectives for the Explorer would be elegant.

As to the other two, I think one's activities would dictate which would be the better choice.

It's my humble opinion that having one of each is the best option.

Of your three I would pick the sub... if it was the 214270 I would and did pick that. I actually am indifferent to the date function and prefer my daily not to have it. You have much smaller wrists than I do so the 114270 might work for you. The explorer is THE MOST comfortable watch I have ever worn!

I have a 14060, a 1060, and a 15000 date... I wear my 14060 on a NATO almost daily.

It's tough but not particularly rare or valuable and has a somewhat casual appearance that works well for me.

That said, if I could only have one it would be the Explorer as it can also be formal.

Interesting opinions so far. I'm on day 3 of 7 with the Explorer and it ticks many boxes!

I'm wearing my 16710 sporting a pepsi bezel insert at the office today. It's my go-to watch. Invincible.

Depends on your day...

Everyone's day is different

Where do you work?
How do you get there?
what type of work do you do?
What's the workplace "etiquette"?
Do you travel frequently across timezones?
Do you spend time in places where you don't feel safe?
Do people you interact with have positive or negative views about luxury goods?

etc.

Air traffic controller ; by car; very casual; I don't cross timezones; my surrounding are pretty safe; people around me don't mind too much about luxury goods.

My quest for the perfect daily watch

Tough to choose between the 14060m and 114270. For me it came down to using a the timing bezel occasionally, but the Explorer is wonderfully understated in the best way possible.

My vote was for the 16710 BLRO and I'm quite biased. For my purposes a due everything watch would need to have a date and some kind of decent water resistance. I travel some so the GMT feature is useful at times and you can still use the bezel to time basic things. The different bezels adds a good amount of variety for 1 watch. A black Sub-C Date would be my second choice but I don't have 1.
