That's true if compared with a Super Jubilee BUT with this buckle you get the benefit of the Easylink which is fabulous to use.

41 is definitely lighter and smaller than DJ2 so if you want that go for it, otherwise the thick baton DJ2 with oyster is definitely more sporty and less dressy.
Can't go wrong either way though.
Do you mind posting pics of your DJ41? This is the configuration I am looking for.

Sorry for the hijack!

I personally prefer the more proportioned look of the DJ 41. I don't think the DJ II looks sportier but bloated and out of proportion (just my opinion.) I don't hate the DJ II and if they never released the DJ 41 I would probably go for it

No worries. See if you can find a thread called Still Got The Blues from yesterday. The pics are there. I'll take more asap and post those same ones here too. Love the 41!

Between the three, I would go with DJ 41 Black Sticks.

Very happy with my DJ41 black/sticks and highly recommend it! As a long time wearer of the hidden clasp jubilee I really appreciate the added convenience of the easylink clasp on this model.

I own the Datejust II so my opinion may be biased but you can't go wrong with one! It's great for every occasion.

It’s the black. It’s the sunburst dial. I own one.

Of the two listed I would go with the DJ41. I would go SS and look again. Maybe the DJ II then.

On your wrist I believe the smaller watch will work better. In general I like the styling of the DJII better but size can count!!!!
