I am one of the minority on here that don't mind a service dial on my vintage.

It is a "Catch 22" however in that I really like the functionality of the Luminova glow of the service dial and hands , but the call of sourcing a matte dial is always there....

All the same, I love my 16750. Have a good one. Greg

You may have a point on relume as sometimes we struggle to see the watch at night while in a car. We can always pull our phone's flashlight to see but what i hate about it was we got a glimpse of the time on our phone and there's no more points in flashing your vintage rolex anymore.

The seller is a collector and last week he was chasing after a Patek and had to let go 1 rolex. So he put his 16750 and 16613 on offer. I took the 16750 and 2 days later his 16613 was sold too. So he tried to make me a counter offer to get his 16750 back plus usd500. I kinda feel for the ex-owner as the 16750 is really relatively untouched with reasonable price.

Don't feel too badly if he got his Patek.
Plus you got a good price for a beautiful watch that continues to rise in value. It's a win for everybody.
