Bracelet and movement aside, that RD is possibly one of the ugliest watches I've ever seen. That is of course just my opinion.

Ask yourself why you bought the 116613LB. What appealed to you about it?

I'm not a fan of the white daytona either - much prefering the racing bezel of the PM variants (PM or ceramic).

My vote goes for an all steel sub or polar explorer if you like the white dial.

but its your wrist, your taste and your money

Roger Dubuis does some of the nicest design quality and movement in the industry I own the aquamare it's built solid

Only one horse in this race and that is the Daytona.

If you are thinking Ceramic Daytona, I could see switching. If you are going for regular white dial Daytona, I would rather have the bluesy. Why not put the Bluesy on a blue Everest?

There are a couple of Cartier steel watches that meet your needs. The Roadster is pretty versatile and you won't get annoyed looking at it, the way I would if I had the RogerD on my wrist all day.

I should emphasise that my taste is to go for something a bit 'different' so a regular steel sub or polar explorer wouldn't fit the bill.

I did try the Vacheron Dual time yesterday and was quite surprised, confirmed with some grey dealers the white daytona is almost as rare as finding the ceramic daytona these days as people just aren't trading it in.

Please don't sell the bluesy...

None of your choices would remotely interest me. IMO.

If you've got to have a steel "every day" watch, then I would pick up a nice pre-owned EXP and wear the bluesy for special occasions.

Thanks but I'm not a fan of the standard steel rolexes - like sub, gmt, exp etc

The only one i'd consider is the new sky dweller and even that has some PM although i wouldn't go for the TT version

I like the RD - looks like a handsome watch that is definitely unique with lot's of style. For me the Daytona dials are too small to be of any use and the watch is also small. Not my cup of tea. Go for the RD.

Well today is casual Friday, wearing an Oxford shirt and jeans, was just about to strap it on but then went for the Piaget yet again. And then tomorrow and next day I will be travelling so won't wear the bluesy. Then obviously at work next week I won't wear it - so I'm swaying more and more to selling it and have been getting quotes from grey dealers.

I'm leaning to the Daytona and vacheron, just love the bracelet of the latter and of course dual time. Love something slightly different and uncommon

Yes, I agree. One of the things I love about the VC is the bracelet - so unique in its look and design. The dial also I love - for a white dial watch it really looks well balanced to me and full of interesting details.

The daytona would be a good HK$20,000 cheaper and a much better investment piece, as well as having the versatility in having many strap options available. The VC does have straps available, but would need to order from VC at probably twice the cost of the daytona straps because of the custom lug shape of the VC.

I don't have a VC budget, but if I did I would already own this.

All depends on if you want something that will hold its value when you grow bored. Popular models are popular for a reason. I use to want to be different in my choice of watches and it cost me dearly through the years.

I'd say the newer VC Overseas sounds like an dead perfect fit. Great strap/bracelet system.
