My next will be a 14060, I have two six digit, a five and a four. I prefer the more understated look, slimmer lugs and rattly bracelet (they may feel more flimsy but mine are 40 and 20 years old and strong as old boots)

Quite the opposite here, much prefer the beefier lugs and clasps of the 6 digit. It feels much more substantial

To be frank, I find them the least appealing models (and I owned several). I prefer either vintage or current models.

I love the 5 digits! I'm tempted at times and if I ever add another it would likely be a 16710 but no time soon. Happy to call my 16520's my only 5 digits for now.

When I first started on this forum I was all about the six digit models. Over time, I started to appreciate the five digit models and now find myself exclusively interested in the four digit models. Something about the matte finish and the vintage aesthetic grabbed a hold of me and will not let go.

Oh....I liked my 5 digits and still do but now taking ownership of my second 6 digit it is indeed a different wearing experience. In the beginning I like the old bracelets better but the new ones durability and quality feel has nearly converted me.

Hey buddy, I know you are a Sub guy, but I see a 16710 Pepsi in your future.

Agree completely on the 5 digit appreciation. After years of ceramic this, that, or the other I'm back to this...

Love the 5 digits, they have in my view better proportions but can't get over the filmsy bracelets.

I really love them all! But the 4 and 5 digits have an unmistakable charm and vibe, if you like vintage at all. These fit my wrist (6.5) a bit better than the 6 digit references, although the non-maxi case 6 digits are quite substantial, weight & bracelet wise...Daytona, Exp 39mm, SD4K, DD40, etc...I noticed yesterday after gathering up the 5 I’ll be rotating for a while, just by chance, the watch box has more 4/5 digit pieces than 6, at the moment. Just the way it worked out when I left the deposit box??? or subconscious mind telling me something??? hmmmmm...
As I said...love them all, but the 6 digit pieces are resting (most of them) comfortably somewhere other than my watch box at home... |

I have really felt the pull of a 16610, or a 16520 w/white dial. I've resisted so far thinking it's better to buy the newest versions, but you never know.

Just got my 16710 two weeks ago (Coke bezel), and I love it!
I have owned most of the 5 and 6 digits in the past, all 6 digit have gone, my (personal) summary: 6 digit is the better watch, technically speaking, but the 5 digit watches are more sexy.. Just my 2 cents Tom |

My whole collection is based on 5 digit references. I have a smallish wrist and the size and weight of the 40mm oyster case just fit me so well. I also love the progress they made from the earliest examples to the random serials. Such a nice blend of old and new.
