If this is in fact a dealer, what's the protocol if this is confirmed? The fact that it was bought and then resold on the secondary market have any bearing on returning to Alex? I would think that removing this post documenting the serial number would be bad, if this is his property and didn't have any kind of insurance settlement.

Just curious how that all goes down, with multiple owners over a few countries it seems. What a mess of an ordeal. Best wishes, OP. Hope you're none the worse for wear, health-wise!

Looks like Miikka has it for sale here with box & 3rd party certificate from a London dealer so could be correct:

Of course, the people who stole it could have sold it to the London dealer and they've included an appropriate box for the watch. I'd want the OP to verify which is correct.

Wow, I got lucky. No hammer, just a bruise on the back of my head and a broken pair of glasses...

But my black Sub date got stolen.
