I think the Nato tones it down quite well.

It is the YG bracelet that makes a YG Rolex look loud and the Nato directs the attention to the watch. Well done, good move.

Regards

Mick

Sorry but that color strap just clashes with the watch, a brown or black leather or crocodile strap would be so much better.

I like the sporty look it gives! I'm a fan of nato straps and this is definitely a bold choice. I like that. One thing is - I'd turn down that end piece. Aside from that I get what you are doing and think this is a fun way to change it up.

Maybe on the 4th of July if you're American or on the 14 of July if you're French :-D ?

Other than that I'm not a fan, but all good if that's what you like.

$5K for a new bracelet?

Where do you find that pricing?

I like it.

To keep more in line with the gold what about a gold/beige NATO?

I think a brown perlon would look good. I put my GS on one mostly for comfort.

Instead of putting a $20-looking strap on an 18k gold Rolex, if you are concerned about "using up" the watch, why not just keep it in a safe? Although I have never before advocated for watch queens, that would be preferable.

I've had a DJ on Jubilee bracelet that was worn every day from 1985 to the end of 2016 and it's fine, although somewhat stretched. If I ever cared enough, I could send it to that guy in Hong Kong and have it rejuvenated. Doing that once every 30+ years would be preferable to detracting from the look of the watch in order to save it for future generations.

But if you enjoy this look, that's all that matters. I'd uninsure it though, as most thieves would assume it's a fake and not bother taking it.
