You need to service the 16710; otherwise it's worthless. That said, I agree with the "keep & add" group. As to which deep sea, the D blue dial is amazing. In addition to the domed crystal, and the technological achievements of the watch, the dial was the thing that captured my attention. Ultimately I let it go due to case thickness. For me that became an issue in a small collection. For that reason, I also suggest checking out the sd43.

I think I can live with this one... It would be tough to let go of the 16710. There is history there. LVc can be had any time. Just not sure between either DSSD dial. They are both nice! Blue adds color and represents a great achievement, while the Black is classy and still shares in that same achievement being it was the watch he wore. The other part is that the D-Blue will always hold more value than the Black. If/when (hopefully not) I decide to upgrade. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Me personally would keep the LVc and start saving to add a new watch. The green dial of the LV is really nice and imo better looking and more comfortable to wear then the DSSD. |

IMO when you trade your LV for a Deep sea you'll be adding too much to make it a good deal. Especially if you trade to a dealer, plan on adding $500. I see you getting 75 for LV, paying 8 for Deep sea.
