Refurbished watch is not new, not like a new, it's used. A thin layer of steel has been removed to make the surface shiny (not new) again. Rather pay extra for brand new and make my own scratches. Those do not bother me much.

Thanks everyone for your input, it helped greatly as it just reaffirmed what I was thinking.

At the end of the day, I decided to pass on it...especially after I lucked myself in to this brand new Batman at my local AD this morning! The only one they had in stock that wasn't allocated to their wait list, apparently just came in yesterday...I'm buying a lottery ticket!!

I decided to pass on it.......also because I was lucky enough to come across this Batman at the mall today! Bought it on the spot. Apparently just came in and the store has a four month waiting list, but this one was not yet allocated. Took it with no hesitation. I'm also going to buy a lottery ticket!!
