Your watch is 10 years old. Do your other automatic watches perform markedly better?

I am not tossing my watches out if a mainspring breaks. It's a piece of metal. Metal breaks. Life goes on.
..Yeah, life goes on..
My only other automatic is my 79190 Tudor (1997-98), bought in 2012. Running fine at time of purchase, was never serviced prior, but had it serviced anyway after I bought it and still running fine, a little fast, but that's ok ..!
I do wear and work with it pretty much every day... fwiw.

If it was mine, then I would send it to the RSC...

I have a master watchmaker who cares for my vintage watches...

Yep.

He’s replaced 2 mainsprings for me on a 5 serial and 6 serial GMT.
