Yes 40mm for me. I think I am more comfortable with this size. That being said however, I still have a lot of Panerai straps that have been gathering dust for the last 5 years or so, and they would fit the 44mm model as it has 24mm lugs vs 22mm for the 40mm model.

Actually, I believe they will start shipping on the 14th, as the site is currently stating pre order for the 40mm divers.

Adam, did you order the 44mm diver? I would be very interested to compare the 40 vs 44mm!

No, I ordered the silver 1939. I always wanted a vintage chrono with spiral tachymetre and telemetre. I think this one will be more legible than the black/red/gold.

Yes, I think so too. A thin one.
I love the 68 model but 40mm is the maximum size I can wear not looking ridiculous on my wrist. Sad.

Of course!!!
Gui sent a mail this morning saying the watch will be sent to Europe's warehouse on Sept 25th. To my address one week later. So I imagine I'll receive it at the beginning of October.

But almost three times the price for the chronos, which don't have any scales on dial. Honestly, the DH pieces grab me more as just fun pieces with very affordable and well-informed historical designs.

Adam, Steve and Yoast looking forward to seeing the new pieces at the next gtg.

Coincidentally, I also saw these watches a few weeks ago and considered buying one as well. The value proposition was the primary selling point.

These watches looks cool I like the one on the right more. Do they have a retailer or AD in Hong Kong? How you find the construction quality?

All sales are online, but I believe HK is the shipping place for global sales, and they also ship within Europe and the States. I only just ordered mine, so can't answer your second question.

Great. I wonder if you'll be the first person in the Balearics to own one. My 1939 should be here in a day or two, I hope. The level of anticipation is much the same as for real vintage pieces I have bought online, so that's a good start

I liked the 1970 44mm but the 40 in orange just ticked too many boxes. And at that price it's a no brainer. Especially here in Aus with summer around the corner.

Since you were willing to spend 1k I thought it would be a good alternative.

I'll wait for the consumer reviews. I don't really want to be a pre-launch customer for a kickstarter watch that won't be shipping till the end of the year.

I really like the look of this chrono, very clean, but then they had to go and ruin it by writing "bicompax" on the dial. Could I not have figured that out on my own?

I like the silver dialed version a lot. Could you explain though the spiral chrono function? I'm not sure I've seen that before.

Ships in a couple of days. As for Kickstarter, yes but this is I think the fifth watch so I think it's moved past Kickstarter.

I didn't check every watch, but the several I looked at said they will ship "by the end of 2017". How do you know they will ship in a couple of days? And what do you mean "fifth watch"? I can't find any Baltic watches ready for immediate delivery.

It's an extension of the usual single-ring tachymetre, for reading slower speeds than 60 mph/kph, or lower unit production per hour than 60. It does down to 30 on the second ring then 20 on the inner ring.
