Anxious to see those pics!!!
After many years collecting multiple brands watches I've learned I cannot say "collection complete". Hahaha
My hobby, my dream, my life and my inheritance for my daughters.

Still so sad to think about what happened to your wife, heart breaking.
I am however happy to hear that the watch collecting hobby brings some happiness to your life.

Congratulations on your new watch, I'm looking forward to seeing some pictures.

Since you've been to Scott Amundsen base several times, did you happen to meet Sir Ranulph Fiennes by any chance? I'm asking this because I found his book 'cold' very interesting and inspiring.

So sorry for loss. Your first thread was one hell of journey! I remember following it at the time and have just gone back to re-read it again. What a roller coaster!

Look forward to hearing more from you and checking out what the latest addition is to your great collection.

So what is the ETA on the arrival of the new one? Still awaiting the photo!!! Your photo of the GMT reflected in the pole almost make me regret trading mine in on a SD4K. But with a Sky D to wear, there is no way I could go down that rabbit hole again. For now at least the addiction is under control.

Steve, I remember the original posts when everything happened. I'm glad your pushing through. She is smiling for and at you.

Will she be mad? Maybe, but I'm sure it's that angry with a secret smile behind it knowing that your happy type fake mad. Agreed, 14 is a good number. Congrats on the new incoming. May you enjoy it for many years to come.

In the darkness we find light...May the lume of your "special" pieces be that light for you.

Steve, 14 watches is meant to be and she knew it too. Looking forward to seeing it!

Thanks for sharing and continuing to contribute here on TRF. Having a voice and using it to share your feeling like you do is very healthy yet hard and uncomfortable sometimes. The great thing here is we all feel your loss and admire your strength.
