Chocolates are a great idea. If they are in a mall or shopping center a gift card to a restaurant or coffee shop in there is a good idea as they often probably hurry to grab a drink or bite to eat.

A case of Diet Coke would be funny though.

A bottle of water and some new white gloves? LOL

Nice idea, but like others have said - keep it simple and discrete so she doesn’t get in trouble in the office. I’d suggest a gift card to a nice local restaurant since it’s easy to pass to her without drawing attention.

Ask her if she likes wine and what type she prefers. Then get her a nice bottle.

Never understood the impulse to buy a sales person a thank you gift for selling me a product. Maybe it's just me but my gift to them for excellent service is my business.

I get where you're coming from, but I feel she went above and beyond for me.

She held a 111610LV (the only one in the company) for 4 days in the back safe for me with no deposit while I considered the purchase. She also stayed an hour late on the day I picked it up to accommodate my schedule. To me it's worth a starbucks giftcard to show my appreciation.

I got my salesperson a bottle of Macallan 18 when he came through for me on the white dial Daytona C. After all the BS I went through on 4 different waiting lists he deserved it. And he will also remember that gesture should I ever want another hard to obtain piece.

Like your reasoning because of the good service, but must agree with this statement. Terrible coffee. Somebody gave me starbucks I'd pass it on to the next person.
I'd go with a good bottle of wine

However, there are always exceptions, and this seems like it may warrant the small gesture.

But if you just walked in off the street and purchased it, I would say no gift is required.
