I couldnt care less about the card. I however would perhaps try to leverage that into a better price. Say,,,,,$6700

For a good deal I wouldn't care about the papers being messed with, since they're expired anyway, but for that money call a TS and get a brand new piece with your own name on the papers...

How is the watch's history sketchy? An expired or invalid warranty card from a watch beyond the warranty period mean nothing about how the watch was used, its condition, or authenticity. As far as I can tell those are all good. The only thing in question or being sketch is the warranty card itself which has been damaged but still points to the watch. It would be no more valuable for the watch if it were untouched since it is expired and doesn't give the owner any rights.

No worth it to buy it ...As you mentioned warranty card was tampered with and altered by the former owner. I'd pass.
