Nah...I’d pass and get the LVC or Daytona 500 when you can!

Exactly happened to me two months ago. Waiting for my black Daytona but AD offered me Batman. Never thought I like Batman but took it anyway because they said if I purchase this I will get my Daytona very close.

Got a call from my AD for my Daytona after two months of purchased a Batman.

Now I love both watches. You have see a Batman in person. It will change your mind.

Good luck.20171201_125927-768x1365.jpg

Ya, I get it I love the hulk but can't get over the cyclops so I thought if I get a date I might as well get a GMT to have the third complication as well but what do I know. I bought an Air King today. good price. I do have a Sub C and love the way it wears.

Was in a similar spot. Was offered a Batman. Almost bought it, just to buy it. Then realized I really don't like it, why am I buying it?

Passed.

If it's not on your list then pass. I bought one three years ago because of the hype and sold it a couple of months back.

There's a lot of love for the BLNR here and rightly so; it's a great watch. However, there seems to be an inordinate amount of members here that have bought it and subsequently flipped.

Your money, your wrist, your choice but I would wait for what you really want. There's no guarantee that you'll like it enough to keep if you do pull the trigger.

Go for it - BLNR is my favourite Rolex ever.

I’ve had a Daytona, SubC, LV, SD in the past and I prefer the BLNR over all my previous Watches. I also think it wears differently to a SubC as it has an added sparkle if that makes any sense. I’d even consider flipping the SubC to get BLNR, I did and never regret it.

Good luck, and enjoy the BLNR :)

That’s a fair point, but maybe he just hasn’t noticed the true beauty of the Blnr and all might click when he tries it on

If you don't have a financial issue, just buy both.

Yes, well said. Don’t buy it if you really didn’t intend to. It’s pretty clear you have other pieces you prefer. I say pass and let someone that really wants it have it.

No, you should inform your friends or relatives to buy it as soon as possible, if you are not interested in it. Then the one who get the watch will know who he should thank.
