I just can't think about spending that kind of cash on a watch that has rubber type band instead of pure gold bracelet. Am I missing something?
At least converted from Canadian dollars, the difference is about $9,000 USD in list price. Out the door price at my AD, the difference is probably 1-2K, as the discounts on the bracelet versions are pretty generous, but very stingy on both the WG/YG Oysterflex models.

I would agree with some of the sentiments that a Rolex without a bracelet seems to be missing something, hence another point of hesitation in jumping on the Oysterflex. As comfortable rubber is, it won't have the lifetime a bracelet does.

Defoo the rose gold with choc dial. Also exclusive as only dial with numbers. Rose gold/choc all day!

Nice. The WG one would be my choice of the trio.

Same for me and it was a close call between that and the 5164, but I'm delighted with my choice, and hope you get yours soon too, Travis.

It's the ceramic factor, such as on the SS, and here the WG is now selling at a £1-2K premium. Retail difference on these is £7K so its a fair bit cheaper than full gold.

Yep. See my thread here about that: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=571520

Sometimes - OK, a lot of times - Rolex makes me go

Great trio of Daytona. Can't go wrong with any and the WG is a stunner. However, I'm a bit biased mine is RG with choice dial.

That makes sense. Missed the ceramic bezel difference between oysterflex and bracelet.

At the MSRP pricing, seems like (weight of bracelet) x (price of gold) has been taken off. ( or even more ). But at realistic pricing, I would aim for the bracelet version. But then again I am no where near a point in my life to dump that kind of money into ONE watch so may be my perspective will change if I get there.

Tried the WG OF on at the AD a few weeks back. If you've never seen the OF in person, I really recommend it. Really impressive and so comfortable. And that WG is a looker for sure.

Did someone say Oysterflex?

That Daytona on the left is fantastic. I don't do yellow gold and wish it was rose but it is a special combination. Anyone know the rrp?

Made a trip to my AD to get a quote for the YG Newman-like dial and also tried on a RG/Choc dial that they had in stock. The dial option for the YG is called "black/champagne". I think it's beautiful and it really is a tribute to this beautiful 6263. The only thing to consider is whether an AP 26331ST is more watch for the price.
