maybe a stupid question

so i bought my SS sub date in Dec. and i have read a few times on here about how fast the date changes on the new rolexs and what not.
so on new years i thought it would be cool to film in the date change at midnight in slow-mo, well i did just that but my date did not change
at midnight i waited 30 or so secs before i gave up and then popped
the crown thinking maybe somehow i screwed up and set it wrong but as soon as i popped my crown the date changed.

i have had no problems with this watch at all... its been a champ runs -1 sec a day im very happy.
just wondering if it should be changing the date at midnight or not?

thanks

Mike
