Just got in and saw all the posts.

A couple posts mentioned white gold. Very possible. A week earlier though I saw one White gold in the same case, and confirmed. Could see a slight portion of price sticker. This time, regardless, I saw 4 daytonas , may they be SS or not, still an amazing sight.

I called my friend in San Francisco to check if there was really 4 SS Daytona at Tourneau. THere wasn't even one , salesman was wondering where did my friend get that information. Salesperson told my friend, he needs to spend at least 40K to get that daytona.

I have been in the market for a white face SS Daytona for quite some time now and I am still looking!

I called the store and they confirmed not having any in-stock, if anyone can find me an AD where I can buy it at MSRP (9,200 or 9,925 for the new clasp) then please PM me. Looking for help from fellow RF members.

Thanks in advance...

We don't appear to have any such issues over here.
Have no fear...it's coming. Talking with friends that work in London, they sound like we did 6-8 months ago. It's tragic...but I think this recession is far from over and it's going to continue to spread throughout the world. I expect we'll see more and more stories like this regarding Rolex's in AD cases popping up regardless of the country.

I just checked Tourneau's website and it doesn't show they carry Rolex anymore.

since the Baron & Leeds opened in South Coast Plaza, that Torneau location no longer carries Rolex. I was the Torneau in LA about a week ago and they still carried new Rolex.

Buy now while the price is low. I'm sure they are bound to go up.

Last night visited Tourneau in SF center, they had 2 Daytonas, both white gold (I assume as the price was $30K). One was black face the other an off white. Interestingly they did have 2 Milgauss, white face and black face in the same case. When asked, for a SS Daytona, you can go on a waitlist after spending $50K at the store.
