I wonder if perhaps it’s not the right watch for you

It sounds like you need something that has a bit of adjustability in the bracelet or as Tyler pointed out, try it on a strap.

Good luck

Looks way too loose, like it's someone else's watch. I'd start by removing 2 links.

It looks loose to me too although I would recommend just removing one link and see how that works for you. Post some pics here as well.

When I first got my Jumbo, I had it sized by a jeweler who thought it was a good fit. I realized that it was still too large and posted a similar thread here where most people thought it could take 2-3 links off. I ended up only taking one link off and it now fits perfectly.

I just bought the 15400, and almost immediately (thanks to this forum) bought the 1.5 link for $301 shipped to my US address. I wish more brands would utilize the rolex adjustment feature, but alas the 1.5 link is the happiest medium I can find and i've been happy with it.

Sounds great 👍 But $301 shipped is steep for a SS link.

It is, but it’s worth it. If you’re going to wear a watch like a 15400, don’t cheap out when it comes to a $300 part that will allow it to wear properly.

Just my opinion of course, but it seems silly to spend that much money on an exquisite timepiece like a Royal Oak and then wear it uncomfortably to save $300.

VC does it better than Rolex with their clasps for the overseas. Its a double deployant like the AP and not a fold over like rolex. There is a micro adjustment built into the clasp. IMO thats the benchmark in clasp design.

Yeah, true that.

I agree, but price to entry is what it is. They've got us cornered!

The overseas dual time (I have a GMT/Travel obsession) is high on my next purchase list, my wife being my barrier. I had to a agree to a few years before my next purchase, in order to acquire my 15400.

So true. Just out of curiosity, I checked with Betsy at APSC Clearwater on pricing. The 1.5 link is $216 plus $30 shipping. $199 for 1.0 link.

Sounds about right on pricing for the link. The quote I received for the full bracelet for an offshore is around 2100 at a slight discount from AD.

And the watch is way to loose...

I would highly recommend that you double check their work. That is the price for the old band 1.5 link, the new band link, which you can tell by the 1220 inscription on the inside of the band, is a little bit more expensive.

Clarification: The pricing I received from Betsy is for the 15300 bracelet.

Question is should I remove 2 links and add a 1.5 link? Simply removing 1 link makes the watch uncomfortable to me.

The fit is fine just not perfect. You can see how much it goes up my arm from the pictures.

It's your watch, wear it exactly as you like.

I do wish the RO had an EasyLink type system - my wrist changes in size quite a bit with temperature (and exertion, but I don't do much of that any more!), so I have to wear it a tad looser than I otherwise would, to avoid it becoming too tight in warmer weather.

To each his own but looks at least 2, probably 3 links too loose.
