I love the 1815 chrono. I have the original but also like these newer models with the pulsation scale. Tremendous bang for the buck. Congrats!

Wonderful pics! Congrats! That's a very nice Lange. Although I find it wear too small for me.

I am looking forward to try the RG version.

It does wear quite small in the beginning (especially if you been wearing 44 AP regularly) but after a while you get used to it. In the end, it is a dress watch so I’m OK with the size

Everytime you think about the Patek, just take the Lange off your wrist and have a look at that movement...Presto ! Sanity restored !

Absolutely beautiful.

Thanks and that rg version also looks amazing. My wrist is 6.5ish and I actually
Think the Lange 1 (38.5) fits me even better. This is my second Lange and I can say that they actually wear a bit large due to their longer/straight lugs and thin (ish) bezel. So I think the chrono could work for 7-7.25 too. It’s so stunning I think you should try it on. The back - well -

Too many. I’m working on some changes while also expecting two / one of which is your fault. My new strategy is only adding watches that hold value - already broke that rule with 1815 but it’s too pretty

Looks great on you... it can be a dress piece but can work great with casual outfit as everyday piece..

The only problem is that I will need to unstrap it often to admire the movement :)

Do you see this is falling or will fall? I thought the limited release and great welcome would mean good residuals for a Lange.

Good question. I certainly waited a long time and I don’t expect them to be readily available for some time - maybe another year? My other experience with Lange was a sharp decline so I would expect a loss if trading in. As beautiful as it is (and tremendous value compared to 5170) it just doesn’t have the broad following needed to strengthen residuals. My other model was simple 1815 38.5 - that made it more affordable but got crushed. I do think this should hold better near term but would still assume loss. This watch is a real beauty, no doubt. And for those that think it is too small I don’t agree as long lugs make it wear larger than its specs suggest
