Well a metals tester would settle the question. One that can ID platinum.

With the bezel ring off the watch give it a test.

Here’s an idea. Weighing both model cases (remove bracelet). If 116622 is significantly heavier than 16622, then should confirm 16622 is only a platinum insert. It looks like platinum is about 3x denser than stainless steel (yes, it’s 904L, but I’m assuming close enough).
