"Paul Newman" Daytona - 15.5 mill just isn't enough.

I'm more than fond of that early 80's dial J.W.!

If I had to live with only one 5500 that one would do just fine, but as they are so readily available and have infinite subtle variations I have several!

It is one of Rolex most complicated watches ever. Considering what other watches cost these are way too cheap. Very underappreciated.

Don't get me wrong, I really like this watch. It is one of my favorites. I would love to own one.
But...... It shares a movement with the Wakmann Gigandet, that I can easily pick up for $1,200.
So, at a 20,000% premium it does not seem under rated to me.

Rarely movements alone that notivates a price. Think Valjoux 72, Lemania 321 etc.

Underrated does not necessarily mean cheap. The Killy really should cost much, much more than it does imho.

I have to agree with the 6424. A vintage 36mm but with 20mm lugs. I think the only other vintage pieces with these dimensions are the day/dates.
