If by "some" you mean "all" then the answer is absolutely yes. Plus, they have listening devices!

Could be true.

I hear that the new GPS modules look like springbars.

If folks feel that easy crime such as smash & grab in Rolex AD is lucrative then they will continue... I truly believe that if they had a way to self destruct or blow up the individual who crossed the threshold then why not use it?

I hate criminals. they increase my cost on almost everything.

I will add I am a combat veteran of foreign war having served in Afghanistan. I hate terrorist as well... in a mutually conclusive manner between the criminals and the terrorists i feel I am entitled to tell them to ###s off.

Daniel, this is a forum of watch enthusiasts with an expected level of decorum.
This is not your local pub on a Saturday afternoon with the boys.... If you feel the need to post obscenity, take it elsewhere. This forum isn’t the place for poor choice words.

Inside the case is not possible. Those radio waves cannot get through the case metal.

I think they stick a tracker in your car while you're busy admiring your watch at the AD.

I would imagine there is tracking when delivering in bulk as form of insurance

They unfortunately put all their trackers in their ss sport models, so basically they are never protected in the event of a robbery

I meant the individual watch case can't and likely is not tracked.

Sure, when they are shipping in bulk, there might be a tracker on the shipping case/pallet/whatever.

BTW, does anyone know if the cal 3135 can also power a GPS tracker? Now that would be cool wouldn't it.

Whynot?? The tracker the aliens installed in my brain under the steel plates works all the time. I am always spotting the black helocopters following me all the time.

I am not a watch expert, nor am I a gps expert. I’ve read on here, and once or twice on a news article that robbers leave behind watches that had a gps tracker in them.

Is the gps inside the case? Could be?

Maybe it’s in the pillow like another member suggests? Idk.

But, to address the OP’s question, I’m just stating that I am certain that any gps would be removed at time of purchase.

Anyway, thanks for your feedback

This company claims they can put tracking devices inside a Rolex:

https://saintcrossinc.com/

But they are closed now due to Corona
