I like the date because I can never remember the day’s date. The cyclops is also classic Rolex. I like my Rolex looking like a Rolex - loud and proud.
BUT, you want something understated and already have a GMT that has a date. The ND is super cool among watch enthusiasts. |

I went days trying to figure out which one to get. I have other watches with the date so figured ND would be a good choice. I rarely ever use the feature so it made it easier for me to decide. As a plus the ND looks better with the symmetrical dial. People associate the Cyclops to Rolex so that could be considered a positive or negative depending on your views. Either way both are great choices.

Both great, wore a date for many years, now because I switch watches every few days. I prefer no date, I enjoy setting the time and going.

If you can live without date, then 114060.

ND. You can always work out what date it is by counting how many days it's been since Christmas or any other convenient reference point. And who really wants to confront a goggle-eyed freak every time they consult their watch?

Ive owned Date and No Date. Loved them both but they are gone now. No idea which one I would choose if I had to buy again. Sorry but I'm no help at all

That’s basically like saying everyone should pick a slantnose over a big-eyed Porsche 911. It’s a hallmark of the brand.

I think when you already have a watch with a date, it would be better to get a no date

Sub date or no date
ND. It will look more different from your TT black GMT. It has also a dressy character than your casual/sporty GMT.

Nearly almost everything on it is off. The cyclops magnification, the date font, the lume pips are too bubbly, the fonts on the dial are all incorrect, I'm not even sure if ceramic subs came with swiss T<25. The pearl pip doesn't look correct, the markings on the bezel spacing are all wrong. The solid end link fitment looks bad, and I'm pretty sure the crown looks shoddy too.

I’m not a big fan of the cyclops on dive watches. Hence I would lean more in the direction of the ND Sub.
In case a date function is needed, I would suggest to consider a SeaDweller (one of the previous models). But, in the end it’s up to you and it’s your choice. ;-) Enjoy the process. |

I need a date function in my watch. SubC date for me, and I like Rolex Cyclop very much.
