Very nice Tony. It looks great.

How long does it take to get your watch regulated?

Thanks.
Think the regulation bit would have been about half an hour. Spent longer then getting the bracelet sorted and sized.

Got it direct from Rolex. Their Service Centre in London.
As the 16700 had the Jubilee as an option when new, they let me buy one and I left with it fitted and sized.
Where does your $2600 come from?

I have been quoted $2600 for a new one by DavidSW and by a private seller with a Rolex connection.

I have a 16710 with an Oyster that I want to keep but I also want a Super Jubilee. Do I need to take the watch off the bracelet before taking it to Rolex to buy a new one?

Suggest you contact RSC for a price. I was given a price over the phone. The new bracelet is a 62510H with 502T end links and ‘50’ marking which is the current GMT replacement Jubilee. Do not know if they would supply a Super Jubilee.
Easiest to ask as well if you have to trade in your Oyster. I did not have to, but often on here people have different experiences at different RSCs. Good luck!

Thanks, yes all new.
Have only experienced a worn jubilee previously on my 1603 DJ and this is way better. 30 year old watch now feels brand new!

I don’t think that RSC in London will regulate your watch as a stand-alone service, they will if it’s inside warranty period of watch or two year post service warranty. If outside this I would imagine they would tell you to service the watch. I would like to know what they would say if you came along two years and one month after a service?

RSC Vietnam will sell me a jubilee or a superjub for my 16710. Which to get!? They reckon the super jubilee doesn't quite fit as well as the jubilee that used to come with it.

Yep, bought and had fitted at RSC, St James Sq, London. Head office of Rolex UK.
An excellent experience all round

See post 44 for bracelet reference numbers.
