Looks more like Espresso to me with the black and brown. It's nice, especially the 2 tone one.

I think you have to see it in person really. The issue is whether and when your AD will have it in order for you to see it.

If the Rootbeer were a person, I think it would be confused on which bathroom to use.

It just doesn't look right to me. It totally lacks the charm of the previous versions, which had a lovely copper color. This just looks turdish.

I like the gold case with brown and black ceramic Bezel. Very handsome to me. I don't see paying that much somwill be happily staying with my BLNR.

It does look very nice. I prefer the colours on the bezel to the BLRO.

I'm really fond of the CHNR. The colors are Chocolate and Black. I don't see any reference to root beer except in the minds of those who can't move past yesterday. It's a new watch and the best looking two tone bezel GMT that Rolex is currently got in production, IMHO.

At the risk of offending other members, the blue on the BLNR reminds me of the royal blue double breasted suits from the 60s. The BLRO is too much of a throw back to the original GMTs with the wrong color; not wanting a Jubilee bracelet either. The CHNR to me is a new watch, new color, like the BLNR was except muted and pretty not harsh and garish.

I guess I'll be in it close to alone. I really don't understand the need to label it as a Root Beer considering Rolex has labeled it as Chocolate. Whatever...

It does kind of look like a coke bezel. I wonder if the root beer was introduced simply because Rolex couldn’t perfect the coke colors?

I completely agree, very different look, more of a special occasion watch not an everyday watch but stunning in the right settings.

Im on "the list" for this one and decided this will be my new everyday watch. Then today I had to write lots of checks to mail off on April 15th so maybe Ill just be looking at it when it comes in to the store, damnit. I honestly cant wait to put my eyes on it and hope between now and then Ill be able to rebuild my bank account a bit.
