I put two nieces and one nephew thru college in the Philippines. Hopefully it will give them a kick start to get a reasonable job where most their age cannot. Aloha, Tim

Mainly Special Olympics and a local learning center/school for the disabled.
Anonymously to my mother's small, rural country church when they need a boost for renovations/upgrades. To a local HK food charity. |

I volunteer my time counseling those who cannot afford it, and I am on the local Emergency Medical Services team. I enjoy giving to local charities and once in awhile leave super tips to those that, I feel, deserve it.

My two favorite charities are KIVA and Smile Train. I currently volunteer at four theaters , a merchant seamens center and cook for a soup kitchen. When I snowbird in Florida I volunteer at Catholic charities food pantry and also Catholic charities soup kitchen. An interesting experience when my fellow volunteers could not understand why a Jewish man would volunteer in the Catholic organization.
I also from time to time subsidize people in need.

I donate the odd watch to my small collection from time to time.
On a more serious note it is great to provide free services to the community, donate goods or money (towards any good cause) when you can and i firmly believe being quiet about it is even better. Congrats on all who engage in selfless and thoughtful, kind deeds. Keep it up. Keep it going. |

I usually donate spontaneously when something touches my heart. The American Heart Association is a big one too because my son has a heart condition. Once in a while I donate a Rolex service to someone deserving.
Time wise, I volunteer minimum 4 days a week, that's why I work only part-time. I volunteer in my kids' school to help first graders read, I'm part of PTA, a yearbook photographer and editor, and I spend Thursdays at the Maker Space, where the kids get to be creative. I also volunteer for Voices for Children, as a Court Appointed Special Advocate for a foster child. It takes up a lot of my time, but it makes such a difference that it's totally worth it. I paint rocks for fun and hide them at local parks for people to find. Its a fun way to make a stranger's day. I like to help whenever, wherever. Sent from my SM-G930T1 using Tapatalk

When I lived in the US, I used to donate about 25-30 hours a week to a local Vietnamese Buddhist temple. It was run by female monks, so there was always work to be done. Great group, really humble and down to earth.

Sick Kids hospital in Toronto providing world class help to children and their families.... they really do incredible things there. It will move you to tears.
I also like to support family and children services where my wife works in social work. They do incredible things for kids in need and families in our community. Lastly, our local food bank. There are many people in need right in your own backyard and need a helping hand. |

My wife and I donate to Pit Bull rescues but this past year have stepped up the amounts and number of times.
We lost our dog 3/27/17, so every month for the past year on the 27th we have donated to different rescues in her name. I usually do fund raising for different 5k races too. Anything from children's hospitals to veterans projects. Might participate in the 11 Day Power Play, 11 straight days of hockey for cancer research. Sent from my Pixel XL using Tapatalk |

Yes, my wife and I have donated regularly to a group of charities, from Children's hospitals, to cancer and leukemia research, Muscular Dystrophy to disabled veteran's, and often to specific foundations to help families in need with medical costs for a member of their family. Many of these charities are sparked by families we have known who have had tragic illness affect a loved one. We give what we can as often as we can, my wife is always there to help. Even when I take her to a customer's charity event, she always donates personally to their charity.

Couple charities like St. Jude and City of Hope.
Volunteer to help the Society for the Preservation of Big Horn Sheep. Caring for guzzlers out in the Mojave. Teach "Earthquake" preparation ( I get a lot of people wanting classes to prepare for Zombies. .) Food, water, living, defense. etc. Teach four wheel driving and take other disabled and cancer survivor folks camping. The last one is the most fun. |

I make donations to the local church and Hope Now Ministries. This Christian community help orphanages in central Ukraine to meet basic needs for survival. I try to donate for orphans on a regular basis, I feel like it's the right thing to do.

Yes time and money. I have a couple charities set up on direct deposit off my check at work. Worked in behavioral health for many years now and while I make a decent living could have made other better paying choices. Has been very rewarding work. Helping others is good for the soul. I need to donate more time. I did the first tee a couple years ago and that was really cool. Think I will do that again this year. Teaching kids golf is a great way to teach sport, but also so many other great character traits in golf.
Wife does a lot with her time to help others. She is a better person than me. More giving.
