You have to ultimately choose which one works best for you and that you like best. That being said, I wouldn't turnover the SD43 as much as add the BLNR in an excellent condition pre-owned worst case if needed later on. If a new version out, all the better.
The GlideLock though is so good, I'm not sure I can see myself buying another bracelet watch without it. I would never give up having at least 1 Glidelock in my collection. A 116613LB seems like a very good alternative for a watch in the islands |

So the BLNR has arrived already!! Put my name on the list 6 days ago and got the call this morning, was not prepared for that at all, was expecting to wait a few months at least! Also, in those 6 days I decided that I could never sell the SD43 so looks like the one watch collection is now a two watch collection

Keep SD43 and buy BLNR.
If I had to keep one Id go with the BLNR (love mine:)). Rationale: I travel quite a bit and GMT hand is a good reminder of when I can call home, I need to know 24 hr local time so the GMT hand is handy, and I like the blue. Cheers! |

I was gonna say Blnr seems like a better fit for u... but u will definitely regret selling the SD43 later.
But I see now u added the Blnr and kept the SD43. Congratulations on the new watch and making a wise decision. Lol

The only watch I would recommend is the Submariner, since you have a size issue with the SD43. I think you are going to miss SD43, the versatility and most specially, glidelock. I live in a humid place as you and glidelock has been the super useful. The BLNR is a great watch but I would mine loosing glidelock, the timing bezel and getting PCLs, which in my opinion don't age well.
Get a Submariner and down the road add a Tudor BB GMT.

I'm with you. I had a BLNR and miss it. That's why I'm heading back for the SS Pepsi. Love the GMT function.
SD43 is a special watch no doubt but I'm going to find mine a new home before Pepsi time |

BLNR for your wrist size and weekly use, and save for a used no-date five digit sub for weekend use.

I owned a BLNR and SD43 at the same time, but I eventually sold the SD43. I don't have a small wrist and I found the SD43 to be a beautiful watch, but it was a tad robust/tall for my liking. Overall, I prefer GMT IIs and Subs because I find them more comfortable.
You can also pick up some straps for the BLNR for times at the beach and what not to preserve the bracelet. |

At a 6.75mm wrist whatever you wear would probably be better at 40mm in order to be most proportionate and look "right". I sometimes see guys with small wrists wearing watches that just look absurd on them, like pilot's watches, with bad lug overhang and can only wonder what they are trying to compensate for.

Excellent decision! I was hoping you would find a way to make the two-watch option work. Between the two of them, you cover all your bases. Enjoy them, and wear them in the best of health! |

Since you've been looking at the Blnr, go for it, or you won't stop thinking what if.
