I can't speak of this strap but I do have two Pateks and a PM Daytona on Rubber B and can attest to it's quality. I switched mainly because leather doesn't work for me for a daily in warm weather. The only leather strap that I still have is on my Barrichello and velcro on End of Days.

Never understood the slam on a velcro closure. I can't speak to this one as I have never seen it, but we have already accepted six figure watches on rubber, is velcro really the bridge too far? I mean if its good enough for 7 figure RM's....
I want something that fits well, period. If that is velcro so be it. But the most expensive OEM option is deployant, and those do not exactly fit well for a lot of people. If AP did a velcro strap I would absolutely buy it for a ROO. |

Its really comfortable go for it, you can choose your size, for me its a perfect size and way far better than the deployant clasp and way cheaper too. No need for plots and pins, deployant clasp etc.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thought I was add some more information to this thread. Recently ordered the RubberB for a metal bracelet replacement.
Rubber was high quality as to be expected from the company, but not entirely a fan of the velcro mechanism after seeing it up close instead of in marketing photos. I thought maybe it was pre-bent instead of something that would create a bulge to fold over, plus the sizing is tricky to get right without excess velcro being exposed or not enough. All in tall, wasn't to my taste personally so I didn't end up fitting it on. YMMV. You can see the ends also has some of the titanium exposed which I also didn't like. So, long story short, looks like I'll be ordering in the OEM conversion set. |

I felt similar to you but then called them and asked some questions, I was told that the "plots" couldn't be covered with the rubber on the ends because it wouldn't fit the case as precise as it should. They show the metal on their picture. My biggest hesitation was the velcro & to that they explained that it was the best way to resolve the closure for the RO bracelet After about 2 weeks the loop went down & the fit was perfect. I'm glad I kept it because it is extremely comfortable although it does not have the same flair as the beautiful RO bracelet I am happy with it. You can see wrist pictures on above posts. Definitely look forward to seeing your conversion!

Yes, your photos looked amazing and part of the reason I ordered originally. Looks like killer with the navy suit in the photo. Pretty good deal at 300 vs the conversion running around 1,700 USD I think? Haven’t gotten the final quote yet. The RubberB return policy made me hesitant to bend the Rubber.

Makes sense. Probably there's just enough rubber on there to avoid it peeling back visibly where the plots would normally be. I have a OEM brown and black one for my RG ROC and would definitely consider one of these since I only have one set of plots.

A tang buckle version would have been a great option.

Hi all - does anybody know what size screwdriver and pushpin I need to swap a RO 15400 bracelet to a strap? I have the AP strap and connectors, but my local watchmaker did not have the right sized pushpin. Alternatively if you know of a watchmaker in the San Francisco Bay Area that you have used previously please let me know.
Thank you! |

I put the velcro on my explorer ii. Love it. The quality is fantastic. It's personal preference but I think rubber is very comfortable and I enjoy the velcro.
