Last week I had a little incident with someone who couldn't let
well enough be and shut their mouth... I had a feeling things weren't
going to go well with this so I opened the clasp on my DSSD and slid
it down my hand and then closed it around my fingers (kinda like
brass knuckes)... Anyway, I started walking out trying to just leave
BUT next thing I knew I was being shoved from behind into the wall
after bumping into the wall I turned around throwing a hook with my DSSD
right into the side of his jaw. Well he was taking a nice nap real quick and I
just walked right out, slid my DSSD back on my wrist and headed home.
When I got home I inspected the watch and everything was PERFECT
except for a bit of someones skin on and between the bezel, nothing a
toothbrush and some soap couldn't handle.
Point of the story is that it is still keeping perfect time.

my problem is getting scratches...i seem to get something every week! ;o

I've had a 4 foot drop in the shower.... '07 SS subdate, which was just the height of stupidity on my part since everyone here knows you just don't take 'em off or put 'em on when you could possibly drop them...
..still, luckily no crystal damage, and it gains 3 seconds/week, which as far as I'm concerned is about as good as it gets.

but it does have the slightest little ding on the case which you'd have to actually search for if you didn't know about it....but I know about it, so it's glaring to me...

Rolex will happily replace a broken crystal (under warranty) for free. Curious if this extends to the movement as well? Plz let us know.

..to me, I have to change the whole dial coz moisture wreck the silver hands and maybe the tritium making them discolored or something. That watch is not a Rolex by the way but one of the top 10 brand. My beater watch is a Tudor Monarch and built like a tank methink.

Always take your watch off over something it can afford to strike and a distance it can afford to fall.
Tools is correct, most Rolex are damaged when dropped.
