Yep! Sometimes we decide we want to try another piece. Nothing wrong with adjusting your collection. I see a lot of that on here, and I buy and sell. Usually several months or years in between changing my mind. It’s just fun to try things. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have gone thru my fair share of watches to get the collection where I want it. There is no shame in flipping. I have liked some that I bought on a whim and not others. If I don’t wear it I flip it and go for something I think I will. I do not hesitate to wear any watch in the box right now and like them all.
To me the number one thing is legibility. I give two s less of I can make $3000 on a new daytona if my AD hooked me up. I won’t wear it, don’t want it because I can’t read the damn thing. I don’t need a YM2 to time a regatta, I need to know quickly and easily if I am going to be on time for my meeting or how long before I have to leave to go somewhere. I say the white is more easily readable but Rolex blue dials are stunners. Tough call but I am sure you will make the right call this time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Nothing wrong with flipping. Just as long as one thinks it through. I have one or two regrets. But you can often buy back the model that you sold, if necessary.

I don't think that this move makes you a flipper. You tried it, it did not work as well as you would have liked so you moved on. I would buy the Pelagos Blue first as you can buy it with a discount and it is a great summer watch with the color and titanium bracelet. Let the newness of the white dial OP settle a little and by fall you may get a discount on that watch. For me the Tudor watches are Rolex killers for cost, wear, quality and fun. Go try the Pelagos on and see what I mean. I like the watch so much I bought the Blue and the LHD. Good luck.

I’ll have to make a few more calls but if I get the same story elsewhere I may just follow your suggestion and go for the Pelagos now.

If I buy a watch and it doesn’t work for my I sell it within the month. You held out for a year. Hardly makes you a flipper

Generally Accepted Watch Principles:
Sell in less than a year: flipper Sell in more than a year: unsentimental person who doesn't appreciate the memories associated with scratches, nicks and dings Sell on one year anniversary: gets a pass as long as it's not a habit

Welcome to the club. I’ve done it more than a few times myself. All part of the experience.
