NO! And that is why I will always continue to buy from my AD because he treats me well and fair.

I think most watches have been worn. Being tried on by customers at the store. I would like the stickers to be on. But to me, the warranty is more important. If it has not been activated, then it is new to me.

I think it’s funny when people post a watch for sale and they say it’s unworn but the picture has it on their wrist. Lololol

its not new if you are the second buyer, period. Stickers are irrelevant

Every single secondary market watch is used, without exception.... unless they were stolen from the Rolex factory or "fell off the truck", but thats a different thing all together.

I am curious if there are any other brands which remove their stickers. It is a good feeling if the AD removes them in front of you knowing that you are getting a new product. I bought a new Breitling from AD which did not have stickers and I was OK with it as I was not expecting them. Boils down to what you expect.

I tend to agree with this; I can't imagine a watch with less than a full warranty as new. I've been saying this for years.

its strongly suggested. Its going to depend on how much your AD trusts you. There will always be people who says "my stickers didn't get removed" to try to disprove the trend, but that is the exception not the rule.

stickers on are silly.
wearing the watches with them on is even sillier.

if u r buying to wear, who cares about the stickers.
but u r buying to keep/invest/whatever then yes all stickers should be on.

Won’t grey dealers just start putting their own stickers on them and selling them as stickered? Of course they would need to source the correct type of stickers but if it adds a few hundred to the price then might be worth the hassle...

its the plastic couch cover argument. Yes, some people do it. I don't understand it but they do.

Buy the seller, then buy the watch and its condition.

You can have a 4 month old watch with stickers and a one day old with out and the 4 months old one can be in worse condition than the one w/out. Its really easy to tell if a watch has been worn for a while as sooner or later it will have wear marks on the bracelet etc.

If you find the watch you want in the condition you want, who cares if it has stickers or not? I have seen one year old rolexes w/out a mark on them and unpolished. Some people are just really really anal and careful while others are not and then there is everything in between. Truth is for most people, a month or two into ownership and you forget all about the little hairlines etc as they are untouchable. Its a watch, wear it and enjoy it.

If I were to buy from a grey it would not matter me. I think my only concern if I was paying for new would be date of purchase.

I've bought two new Rolexes, one with stickers and one (the BLNR) without. Made no difference, except of course, that I could wear the BLNR immediately and the other one I had to futz with for 10 minutes to get those stupid things off.

To be fair, most of my purchases were used, so obviously they never had any plastics and that also did not deter or diminish my enjoyment of them.

You'll notice I have plastic on my curtains too. I only let the wife take the plastic off the cigarettes for the photo.

never an issue buying BNIB without stickers. A good thing to go buy is if the watch has been sized. its not truly BNIB unless its unsized.

My AD said no stickers on the high demand sports models. I don’t care if the AD removes them but on the grey market you have no way to know for sure if it’s used or not. If I am paying for new I would prefer it be new.

When I picked up the SD43 the stickers were immediately removed as soon as the Amex was hit.

Not sure why many are obsessed with removing stickers. Who cares as long as the watch is unworn and unsized. If buying from non AD and in doubt then don’t buy it. I bet Rolex could make a bunch of money if they started selling stickers so all those folks who whine about it can replace them and peel to their hearts content!!

I have always enjoyed removing the stickers, and therefore I prefer having the stickers on .... That's just me .... I don't enjoy taking the stickers off enough to pay more money for the watch though .. If Rolex insists on having the stickers removed, then so be it.

I'm sure there will be some guys here who will find it difficult to resist making fun of me for liking to remove the stickers myself, but oh well

I.have also asked my AD to remove stickers because I typically wear watch out of the store. I hate the feeling of stickers because it feels "off", sticks to ur skin, itches, and is pool of germs.

Not always. The dealer only connected the battery, then I drove it home to remove stickers and hand wash it.
