Congrats Angelo! We have similar taste in watches. I know you are a huge Explorer fan. I am too, but don't currently have one in the lineup. I've been eyeing this exact watch. Feels like a perfect summer watch, especially on the blue rubber strap.

As a guy who's quick to congratulate everyone else, I'm glad to see you have an incoming. Well played! Wear it in good health my friend.

Big Congrats Angelo! I remember your thread discussing this watch. Glad to see it on your wrist. Super cool watch.

Thank you for the kind words Mike.
Yes, the Explorer remains my favorite watch, my first Rolex, and a watch I will never part with. It will be on the wrist of one of my sons some day.
My next two watches, and probably last two, will both be OP39’s with white and blue dials. At that point I will have a Rolex for each of my boys and a watch for each of my grandchildren...my master plan complete, my collection complete.
As you know, and like you, I prefer the simpler style of watches.

That thread wasn’t too long ago. Things sped up when I decided to part with the OP39 Rhodium. Great watch but had trouble with its legibility.

The dial is like a chameleon. It seems to change every time I look at it.

Congrats on a great watch. Tried it on at the local AD and was blown away with how light the titanium was for that size of a watch. It will probably be my next (Tudor) purchase, now that I got the black bay red already.

Thanks Faz.
You won’t be disappointed with this watch. Aside from being very light the titanium has a certain warmth to it that is hard to describe.

One thing I forgot to mention about the watch is that it has almost a double bezel.
There’s the outer lumed bezel which tapers down to an inner bezel with cutouts for the lumed indices of the dial which are partly on the tapered bezel and partly on the dial. Really nicely done as you can see from the photo.

Just a word about the bracelet on this beauty.
I get up this morning strap on the watch and head out to get my morning newspaper. I can’t even notice that the watch is on my wrist...that’s how comfortable it is.
Fast forward a few hours later. The temperature has risen and the humidity is stifling. Hmmmm...my watch feels a little tight.
No problem. Take it off, make a two second adjustment to the free floating position, and bingo, a comfortable fit all over again. Outstanding bracelet.

It’s a beautiful thing to be able to adjust on the fly, especially for days like this!

It’s the best bracelet, by far, I’ve ever seen Anthony.
And the lume is just plain ridiculous.
