Fast forward to today .... the list has been eliminated. Note that I've bought four watches, two Rolexes, from them through the years. Never again. |

I got my call from my AD last week, transferred my money ($8600USD) and I am in route to Switzerland to get it in late July. My AD put it on her wrist for a preview.

I am number 6 on the list of paid deposits.
I am a good customer of the AD.

I believe my AD really has a list. Each salesperson got to pick two of their clients then they did a “lottery draw” for the order. The big question is really how often these will flow in and I think it’s way too early to predict.
I know some will argue but from everything I’ve ever known from buying Rolex for over 30 years is(at least in the US): There are tiers of dealers, boutiques and high volume dealers get more allocation pieces. Dealers may be given estimates of how many they will get but ultimately the supply chain is pretty much a mystery to them too. My guy hopes I’ll see one late this year or early next year, time will tell. They have delivered at least one, maybe more since I last asked. I don’t “need” the BLRO, I can be patient. |

I am 10th on the list at my AD. When I asked my sales guy how many he expected that they might see this year, he said possibly 2 or 3. So if that holds true into the future, I'll be proudly sporting one of these in the year 2022. At least I have some time to save some cash. What happened to seeing a product that you like and then going and buying it?

One day I hope to buy this watch but I do not see it happening in the foreseeable future.
If it happens it happens. No waiting lists. In the meantime, I'll enjoy so many other watches.

I went from number two to number one on the list because of my collection and enthusiasm in the watch community and because I think my sheer joy as one of the few women collectors has inspired my AD to make sure the REAL watch collectors get their dream pieces. Thank you Greg and Angelle! Y’all are the best! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You know, I am seeing tons of these on Instagram and on sale. I think this is not going to be a Daytona phenomenon. It will start to sell like the BLNR back in 2015 as soon as Rolex equalizes this supply issue. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

It's our own fault for wanting the same watch, really.

I’ll drop my name onto the list. I am putting it to the back of my mind for the time being. Think it will be next year at the earliest. If all else fails I will just put the money towards a new truck.

I'm on the list but no idea where I am as they said they can't check due to GDPR regulations.
Hopefully I'll see it one day. |

Had a bit of an update from my Aurum group dealer here in the U.K.
Finally got to speak to one of the managers (no one else was able to check “the list”), it’s 50 people long and closed. No idea of position and apparently that’s irrelevant as the pieces are allocated, rather randomly it seems, by the main store manager who I’ve only seen once or twice despite going in at least twice a month for the last year or so. They take into account previous purchase history...I’ve had a couple of ss pieces off them in the last year and not getting my hopes up but I was told end of this year/early 2019...we will see! |
