I wouldn’t pay over msrp for anything unless it was equal dollars including sales tax. The SD43 doesn’t fit everyone so they should be available with some leg work. I got mine from an AD that had it in stock.

the prices aren't crazy.......when you add on sales tax, you'll be paying $1000, give or take, more.......how's that crazy for a watch that's semi-hard to get a hold of.........

While a WIS darling, the SD43 is falling victim to the same apathy from the general public that the previous model did and with the the Pepsi release, it's kind of getting lost in the shuffle a bit.

At that price point, it is more like likely the average consumer would look at fluted DJ or go up to a 2 tone reference. It's tough to be almost $3K MORE than a SS Sub C and not look much different in the eyes of John Q Public.

For that reason you might even find some in the display case. If not expect a wait of less than a month as while the supply is still limited, the demand is just not as great.
Cool story but unfortunately, this post is more wishful thinking than fact, at least at this point. The grey market prices have not only been pretty steady, they've actually bumped up slightly for a BNIB with stickers. I'd love to know the AD that has one in the case..........maybe you could direct some of the potential buyers to that AD..........

I agree that the premium isn’t bad on these at all. I might have overpaid by $500. I’ve done much worse selling watches so I’m ok with it and have it now.

I’m in a market where they try not to laugh when you ask about one.

Don't pay over retail on this.

I hear stories on here all the time of people getting it within 1 to 2 months.

Agree and several solid sellers here where you can pickup a new one for less than an AD + tax. Why wait and trouble over it when it can be shipped to your door in a day. IMO the only way to go. Love the 43

Availability these days seems to be region specific. My AD in Houston got three right after they started appearing post '17 Basel, in July. I got one of them. They haven't seen one since.
