Supposed to be very rare...........

I have never heard of or seen another one like it. Supposedly shown by Rolex at the Basel show 10-12 years ago. All correct and original Rolex paperwork (not after-market).

Hey Felly... which one do you find yourself wearing more, white face or black face?

THAT is a really good question Paul!

I find that rotating them equally works best for me. This is gonna sound weird, but I truly can't decide which I like best. My standard answer to this question has been that whatever one I have on at the time is my favorite.

Makes sense Felly, they are BOTH awsome looking watches, and I love mine. I was just wondering about the visibility factor... I'm getting more and more frustrated because it's so hard to read mine without my #$%@$&** glasses on... just getting old(er). I keep wondering if the black face would make it a little less difficult to read(?).

I have to get back to the Shady Acres Retirement community now... there's a bingo tournament tonight and I don't want to be late.....

I honestly think the white dial is a little easier to read, but that's just me. I've heard others say that they think the black dial is easier to read, so I guess it all depends on your eyes. Best way to tell is to check a black dial out, if possible.

Myself not a huge fan of the modern Daytona, now give me the modern day movement, say in the case and style of my 6263, then that would be a nice watch for me.
