I have to add my congratulations too....I've only just seen this post but I knew John had already bought it.

Excellent choice and you really deserve it....I know how long you've wanted one for.

Thanks Shane, and thanks to you for all your help, advice and support on this purchase too. I REALLY appreciate it. As for the straps and accessories... god help me.

I'm going to try and keep the straps to a minimum though. But there is a diver figurine being sold by some guys in Toronto that looks enticing. LOL

Honestly, I'm happiest with the carbon fiber one I got a couple of months ago.

I have one of DONs on my 210 right now and also have one for my 162 or 112.

I am a huge fan of that strap, especially in the summer.

I saw it when I was looking in Wempe's window and quickly bought it.

Of course, my "real world friends" think I'm nuts.

The 88 was purchased when still sold with a buckle. I'm still not sold on Panerai's deployant, although I'm told it's been much improved.

Oh believe me I know!! I counted tonight and I have 23 Luminor straps and 11 Radiomir straps and that is after I just sold some off.

I plan to get down to around 10-15 that I really like, the OEM's seem to always get top choice.
