OP 39 black....looks better suited to your style of dress. I’m not a fan of the first DJ you tried. 214270 is a great watch, but for some reason it doesn’t look as good to me in your photos as the OP on you

From your pics. I think the OP works better than the Explorer. Coming from a guy who owns an Explorer. However the other option of a datejust would be ideal. Working in an office. It is nice to have the date handy.

The OP is a great all arounder, the 5mm easy link and the clasp are cool but they worth the extra 1000$? I love the Embossed crown on the 114300 OP, its different and wont wear down or scratch up.
I also love the Sunburst black dial on the 114300 OP, more charismatic. I think you can wear the 114300 on the weekend with shorts and a tshirt as well as with a suit. |

I got the explorer last December. It's my one and only Rolex and will be for a while.
I wear it daily, sleep with it, very rarely off my wrist. The lume and the Mercedes hands are easily readable day or night. I work in heavy manufacturing & why I didn't go for a model with PCLs. I expected it to be marked and chipped by now but it's held up really well for 8 months daily wear. I thought the extension link would never be used but found myself extending it during the warm weather we've had lately. A great addition to the oyster bracelet. I ordered an Everest rubber strap and am currently awaiting delivery. Superb watch, I really can't fault it. |

I am a fan of the Explorer, I own one and I am extremely happy with it. Very comfortable on the wrist, great everyday watch. The Oyster Perpetual looks also good on you, but it lacks the easy link. I might get the white dial down the road, saw it in Basel and loved it! It would make a great pair with my Explorer.

The safe bet is the Explorer. Classic, balanced dial, easy to read at a glance. Go for it, you will not regret it! |

The Prof Rolex Exp1 at my AD costs absolutely the same, as DJ41.

If you need a date, then choose the DJ41! it looks fantastic with a suit. I have a DJ36 silver dial that I wear on special occasions. My daily driver is the Explorer.
Choose with your heart and pick the one that puts a smile on your face! |

You started with the two, from which I was going to suggest OP (more dressy, crown on the dial, classy for a daily formal wear), but then you added the DJ41, which to me is a much better choice than the other two for a formal everyday watch, especially since Date is important to me.
So from those three, DJ41 is my recommendation, followed by OP, followed by Exp1 which I love, but not for your purposes.

Maybe to look at the white OP39 instead of black? What do You think? Or is it more sporty?

Won’t make that much of a difference. Your personal preference. For me the stock markets are timeless and less busy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
