Unfortunate you received such poor service tom. You have to have a long buying history of expensive pm to get any pull these days. I choose to play nice and wait for the reversal.

Next year I predict the Tudor GMT and BB58 will be readily available and 30% off at an AD, just like the rest of the Tudors. I'd wait if I were you.

Especially in a case like Art 1's wife - the banks are closed on Sunday, how am I going to get enough cash or a money order for a Rolex purchase? By Monday, my desire to purchase may already have disappeared, so they kiss the entire sale goodbye. |

Plenty of evidence to refute it costs businesses a cent. People spend more money with a cc than they would with cash so the 3% fee is less than the added sales CC generate for the business. It’s way easier to overspend with a CC than putting down a wad of cash Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

In Vancouver, I was told there wasn't a waitlist, they've gotten about 20-25 in already. 5 per batch. They've also requested 100% deposit with 2-4 weeks wait and pick up time.
I won't say they are scarce at all. Within a few more months these will be sitting on the shelf (here at least). I think there will be more than enough inventory coming soon. They are trying to latch onto the hot market. Marketing is half the battle and if the ADs here truly want to turn a Tutor into that kind of watch they have to brush up on their storefront appearance first. It's a nice watch, but I think it falls under the hype category right now. |

Hey stupid AD, if we were a couple years ago, you would have given a 10% discount AND allowed any CC the customer wanted. So quit your bitchin'. |

Although the announcement was sudden, it was sixty days or more before he closed and he also gave me a very nice discount on a watch I wanted before the liquidation sale started. He was a solid citizen and a great businessman and I miss him a lot, as I'm sure many others do. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Maybe there is some crossover in the SS Rolex market but anyone who thinks those watch buyers (which are the ones AD's want) deal in cash primarily are wrong. In europe its much easier to do a bank transfer than the US if you want to use a checking account (cash) without visiting a branch, but with those sums of money it becomes hard as well. With a CC its simple. I did the cash transfer once, never again. I had to call the bank and the process took close to a hour while sitting at the AD to get approvals and overrides to initiate a transfer. I could have used a CC and been done in seconds.
