Icon12 Have you ever been set on a new Rolex

A few years back I was dead set on a new Rolex, I lusted over the pictures of the watch, read up all about it, checked the YouTube videos and was absolutely convinced I was having one. I couldn’t wait to go and get it

I’d got a hospital appointment in Liverpool, and thought, that afterwards I’d go to Goldsmiths and see if they had one in stock.

As I walked up to the display window, there it was, I couldn’t beleive my luck, I walked into the store and asked if I could see and try the watch. It was presented to me on the Rolex tray, I picked it up and put it on my wrist, and immediately knew it wasn’t for me
