This is encouraging... headed to Italy for the first time in 2 weeks and was wondering if I should take the Rolex along. Was not sure on whether it’d be safe to do so or not. Safe travels!

I have been in Italy for two weeks now, still have two more to go. Clothes are feeling a little snug. Time to actually start some physical activity. Enjoy the food, it's intense.

I just got back from Rome and Florence, and it seemed like literally every other person was wearing a Rolex there. Heck, the lead flight attendant on my Alitalia flight was wearing a Patek Philippe Nautilus and three of the other FAs were wearing Datejusts.

Just got back a couple weeks ago. London, Milan, Turin, Florence, and a week at Villa d'Este on Lake Como. Saw my fair share of Rolex until I got to Lake Como-boom. I never saw so may Patek's in the wild in my life! There was an older Australian gentlemen wearing a new 5204-perpetual calendar split second chronograph. That thing retails for $300,000-and he wore it at the pool!

I was unabashed in my minty 16750 though:)

Yeah it’s crazy they don’t care. At beach earlier and Guy was wearing a hulk in the sand and all. I wear the heck out of my watch’s but I can’t do the beach.
