Great snag!! What a watch! I’ve always been partial to that orange on white combo. Enjoy it

To be honest, I really like the way Bhindi handled my queries. Very professional and no hard selling or the often quoted remarks that I would see posted here in this forum “get it now or it won’t be here tomorrow”. The sales lady even gave me her business card to ring her if I finally decide.

That's great you were treated well. Their other location in Cerritos feels like you're going into a boiler room situation. I'll never go back to that AD.

Is this thread for real? I live in Australia and you ain't going to see a single SS sports model of any description in any AD never mind a choice between colours for a customer who hasn't previously spent in excess of half a million dollars on other stuff the shop sells. I'm originally from the U.K. and as far as I can see it's a similar story there. Definitely no Explorer 2's to be snapped up on demand never mind a choice, and to think you walked away because you couldn't make your mind up? There's something weird going on in the world of Rolex from where I'm standing.

I love the polar and am on a list here in Southern California for one. Crazy how a little over a year ago this watch was widely available...

OP, did it take you over a year to get the Polar? Your initial post is from August 2018

Yes. I couldn’t decide at that time between a Polar and the Black model. Needless to say, by the time I was ready, both watches were no longer available.

I got this watch recently from an AD in my hometown.

Definitely true! It happened to me in 2018 and the said model is available in the three ADs that I visited.

When I went back to SoCal in several instances - Oct 2018, Mar 2019 and Oct 2019, it has become harder to spot and order this model.

I’m not familiar with the situation in Australia.

It took me a while to get my Exp 2 when I finally decided one. And thought I update you all with this good news. Happy new year!

Maybe try for a regular Explorer. Based on your profile pic, you may not need another 42mm watch for your wrist size.
