Thank you everyone for sharing your thoughts and ideas!!!
Functionality is not a priority in my purchase as I already have a White Daytona C, Hulk and Batman which serves my daily needs.

I envisage getting both the Black Daytona C and SS BLRO to add to my collection eventually provided I can afford the premiums or my AD gets me one.

I agree with most, Daytona value is likely to continue up north and Pepsi current premium is unsustainable and purely from a value perspective, Daytona might make more sense!

Only reason I can think why Pepsi is commanding insane premiums is because I saw a report saying the wait list is 15 years which probably will be discontinued by then.

Afaik, Daytona have been and will always be the Grail of all Rolex for ages.
But trends might change. What do I know

Daytona if you're going secondary. The SS BLRO price is severely out of synch compared to other GMT Masters (except those whacky 3186 5 digits some overpay for). The Daytona is priced high, but a SS Daytona is always a SS Daytona. There are many other GMT LNs, BLNRs, and other SS variations in plenty.

Long term I think the Daytona will keep its value for longer, with that said I prefer the BLRO...so that would be my choice, personally I would buy what I like and not worry about what happens in the future.

You've just got to figure out if you're a chrono guy or a GMT guy.

D500 for me, resale will probably be more consistent than BLRO too.

White Daytona for me. Both are beautiful and you can't go wrong with either.

I’m in the same boat. These two are on the top of my list but can only add one. AD gave me the choice so I said white Daytona. To be fair I already own the original ceramic GMT and never had a Daytona but that Pepsi is sweet!

Between the two I think the Daytona C is a better choice.

Value wise (pending something dramatic) the BLRO should come down a bit. I think we are witnessing that a bit right now.

If you buy the BLRO now the Scalpers win.

I do not think that he will really listen to us, since he is going to drop 20 k for a grey market watch. IMO, it is a wasting on money. Go TT Daytona, AD.

I've been seeing Pepsi's slowly coming down as most have been predicting.@ 17k lately.
